Responsibilities
- Design and define a future service model that balances user needs with organisational objectives.
- Map both current and future service journeys, clearly showing how problems are resolved and experiences improved.
- Run interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather insights, test ideas, and build shared understanding.
- Collaborate with user researchers to analyse findings, develop problem statements, and identify gaps or opportunities.
- Lead co-design activities, turning ideas into concepts for new service journeys and entry points.
- Create and iterate prototypes of service models, incorporating feedback from users and colleagues.
- Develop and test a proof of concept for entry points, helping users navigate seamlessly to the right service.
- Produce a transition roadmap, setting out how current services will evolve into the future model in manageable phases.
- Work in partnership with related teams to ensure the service design aligns with wider business and technical direction.
About You
- Strong track record as a Senior Service Designer in large or complex environments.
- Confident using service design tools and methods such as journey mapping, service blueprints, prototyping, and co-design workshops.
- Comfortable working hand-in-hand with researchers, translating insights into actionable design.
- Skilled at running collaborative workshops and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Able to simplify complex problems and communicate ideas clearly through both visuals and narrative.
- Experience of working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
